  Structure and function of kidney   :-                                                                The kidneys are Bean shaped organ an outer region called cortex and inner  region called  medulla . Structure and functional unit of kidney is called nephron . Each kidney contain approximately 1 million nephrons.    Functions  :-                        There are some  basic process :- Glomerular Filtration  Tubular secretion  Excretion of water and waste product of protein metabolism.  1. Documentation of laboratory safety policies and procedures.  2. All laboratory personnel should be aware about the laboratory safety policies and procedures and  follow these at all times.   3. List of hazardous materials used in the laboratory should be prepared. All hazardous materials  should   be accounted for on a continuous basis.   4. Laboratory personnel should follow safe hygienic practices which include hand washing , wearing  protective clothing, gloves, eye protection etc.  5. Eye wash facility should be available as " stand - alone " facility or attached to sink. Portable  refillable  bottles should also be available.  6.
