Subdural haematoma
Subdural Hematoma :-
Subdural Hematoma is a common neurosurgical disorder that require surgical intervention. It is a type of intracranial hemorrhage that occur beneath the dura ( essential a collection of blood over the surface of the brain ) and may be associated with other brain injuries.
Symptoms :-
- Headache which gradually increased over several days.
- Nausea and vomiting.
- weakness change in behaviour.
- CT or MRI scan help in diagnosis and confirming their extent of the bleed.
- Surgery a small hole is drilled in the skull of brain the blood and release the pressure.
- Majority of the patient show significant improvement of the drains with only few long term side effects.
