                                                         Various Position in Surgery 

1. Horizontal  Position :-
                                       Horizontal position used to examine of breast / abdominal organ / lying flat on table with legs together hands at side of body.

2. Dorsal Recumbent Position :-
                                                  Dorsal position used for digital vaginal or rectal exams gown is opened in the front both feet should be flat on the table,knee flexed.

3. Semi-Fowler's Position :-
                                           Semi-Fowler's Position used with respiratory or cardiovascular  problems on back head elevated to a 45' angle.

4. Lithotomy Position :-
                                    Pap smear on back legs flexed on abdomen feet in sirups , thigh apart gown open in back.

5. Tendelenburg Position :-
                                              Tendelenburg position used for syncope , and used with a mannual table.
