            Handle,Scalpel handle.

Uses:-

      Knife handles are used to hold various blades to create scalpel.Scalpels are used to make skin incisions or whenever a fine precision cut is necessary.

                      Backhaus Towel Clamp

Category:-

         Grasping and holding.

Other name:-

           Robert towel clip.

Uses:-

     This instrument is used for holding towels in place when draping,when grasping tough tissue and during reduction of small bone fractures. 

                          Plaine Forceps

Category:-

          Grasping and holding.

Other name:-

           Plain thumb forceps.

Uses:-

      Used to hold tissue in place when applying suture used to gently move tissues out of the way during exploratory surgery used to insert packing into or remove object from deep cavities.

                     Toothed Forceps

Category:-

         Grasping and holding.

           Tooth forceps

Uses:-

     This instrument used for grasping and holding    tissues,muscles or skin surrounding a wound single toothed on one side fits between two teeth on other side.

      Straight mayo scissor used to cut suture and supplies. Also known as suture scissors.

                     Curved Mayo Scissors

Uses:-

    Curved mayo scissors used to cut heavy tissue (fascia,muscles,uterus,breast).

                     Metzendaum Scissors

         Cutting.

           Metzendaum scissors.

Uses:-

      Metzandum scissors used to cut delicate tissue.

                    Right Angle Forceps

         Clamp the vessels.

            Mixter.

 

Uses:-

      A right angle is used to clamp hard-to-reach vessels and to place sutures behind or around a vessel.A right angle with a suture attached is called a "tie on a passer".

Uses:-

      A hemostat is used to clamp blood vessel or tag suture.Its jaws may be straight or curved.

Uses:-

      This instrument is used to occlude bleeding in small or superficial wounds before cauterization or ligation used often for delicate or small confined procedure. Some examples are plastics,pediatrics,thyroid and hand procedures.

                      Allies Intestinal Forceps

            Allies forceps.

Uses:-

      Allies intestinal forceps is used for lifting,holding and retracting slippery dense tissue that is being removed commonly used for tonsils for vaginal,breast and thyroid tissue for grasping bowel during resections.
